What it means to be an Authorized to Offer agent:
Authorized to Offer agents meet a number of requirements that demonstrate their commitment to being best in class.

In addition, they must satisfy additional requirements throughout the year to maintain their license to sell these plans. A partial list of the agent requirements is below.

Required agent training on product, ethics and health/wealth continuum
Required state appointment and compliance with state requests
Annual disciplinary history and background screen, including credit check
Required community service
Must demonstrate competency
Re-selection and refresher training every year

Prohibit “door-to-door” marketing
Prohibit “cold calling”
Signed code of ethics
Consumer protection through minimum Errors and Omission insurance

Fair Selling & Consumer Clarity:

Require consumer disclosures to verify understanding
